Wolves in Fortnite can be both dangerous and fun. While they don’t deal significant damage, having them attack you can be a problem, especially during a fight. Fortunately, you can tame wolves and get them to help you in a fight.

If wolves help you in the game, you should pet them! Even if you don’t want to do it, you should do so to complete one of the latest challenges in the game.

This article will explain how to pet wolves in Fortnite Chapter 4 – Season 3. We will also list a few locations where you can find these animals.

How to pet wolves in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3

To find wolves in Fortnite Chapter 4 – Season 3, you should visit the western part of the island. These beasts can usually be found around The Citadel, Shattered Slabs, and Frenzy Fields. If you can’t find them, you can also check out Breakwater Bay and Slappy Shores.

To pet wolves, you first need to tame them. This process has become very easy over the past few seasons as you simply need to mount a wolf. To do this, approach a wolf and jump on it.

Once it’s tamed, you will be able to pet it by pressing the emote button. By default, you will do this by pressing the Down button on the D-Pad or B key on the keyboard.

Keep in mind that your wolf will follow you wherever you go. This can be useful since you can mount it to move quickly around the map at any given moment. However, it can also be a bad thing if you are trying to hide from your enemies.

Besides wolves, you can tame and pet boars in the same way. Both of these animals were first added with the Primal season back in Chapter 2, and they will likely stay in the video game for a long time.
