Can you play Fortnite on a Mac?
Yes, you can enjoy Fortnite on Mac as long as your Macbook meets the system requirements to play the game. Most iOS systems can run Fortnite but the graphics and overall gaming experience are not as great as a standard PC. If you are one of many Mac users, keep this in mind.
If you want to play the game on Mac, follow the steps below:
- Open Safari and go to the Epic Games website
- Make an Epic Games account and download the Epic Games Launcher
- Run the launcher, and download Fortnite
- Launch Fortnite from the Epic Games launcher
It is that easy to download and play Fortnite on a Macbook. Depending on the system you have, the gameplay may be lackluster and you may experience FPS (or frame rate) drops. There have been those who have stated that the game doesn’t run well on certain Macbook Pros and Mac Mini.
