Making your way through the map, avoiding getting shot, and doubling up on your kills, you may want to find some furry wildlife in Fortnite. These animals can replenish some much need health or simply use a Vehicle to get to and fro various areas.

The latest update, V25.20, has arrived with a Fortnite x Futurama collaboration. In the collaboration, players can find two new weapons, such as the Mammoth or Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun. But first, follow this guide to learn where to find Wildlife in Fortnite.

How to find Wildlife in Fortnite

Wildlife, otherwise known as Animals, can be used in various ways, such as Vehicles or Meat. During the Week 8 Quest, Loopers must Travel a distance while riding on Wildlife. Wildlife can be found in various areas in Fortnite. So, to find Wildlife in Fortnite, you must go to green or jungle areas. You can find Boars, Wolves, and Raptors in the following areas:

  • Slappy Shores
  • Creeky Compound
  • Rumble Ruins
  • Frenzy Fields

Raptors are a new addition to the types of Wildlife found in Fortnite and were introduced in Chapter 4, Season 3. Additionally, they can be found in Jungle biomes such as the Rumble Ruins.

How to Tame Wildlife in Fortnite

As mentioned above, animals found in the wild can be used as Vehicles if you tame them. To tame a wild animal in Fortnite, you must sneak behind them and jump on their back. This may take a few tries; however, you can get to your following location quicker once you’re riding the animal. Note that you can only tame one animal at a time. Some Wildlife are naturally aggressive and attack you; others may flee.

Conversely, Raptors are naturally aggressive, and you may have a more challenging time taming them. However, if you find a Raptor Egg in the wild, interact with it. Once they spawn, these Dinos will hatch into a fully grown Raptor and are automatically tamed!
