Epic Games has another collaboration ready for release! The Fortnite x Futurama crossover will be released with the v25.20 update on Wednesday, July 26. Epic teased the collab on Twitter, and it appears that it will be massive.
This is just one of the many collaborations Epic has prepared. If other leaks are accurate, there is a good chance that the video game developer will collaborate with Overwatch, Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, and many other popular games.

Fortnite x Futurama collaboration will likely be massive
Epic Games was originally supposed to release the v25.20 Fortnite update on Tuesday. However, the update was postponed, and now we know why. The Fortnite x Futurama collaboration is coming with it, and it will likely be another massive event.
The Fortnite developer scheduled a premiere of the upcoming update on YouTube. The video is named All Glory to the Hypnotoad, which is a reference to Futurama. Hypnotoad is a large creature that has multicolored eyes and uses them to hypnotize other creatures.
Epic also posted a short teaser of the Fortnite x Futurama collaboration. You can see it in a tweet below.
As you can see, the teaser shows a small change to Mega City, a popular location in Chapter 4 – Season 3. One of the billboards shows a hypnotoad, right before a blimp crashes into it. Due to this, we expect some smaller map changes to come out with the next update.
The v25.20 update will be the second major update of the current season. Besides the collaboration, Epic Games will add a lot more other content, including new skins. We will likely get some weapon balance changes as well and many bug fixes.
Epic hasn’t revealed the exact time of the update yet, but it will likely come at 4 AM Eastern Time.
