Fortnite Battle Royale received a huge graphics upgrade with the release of Chapter 4. The new chapter of the video game was released in December 2022, and its graphics improvements left players in awe. However, it is now time for another big upgrade.
The fourth chapter of Epic Games’ game has made the in-game world much more beautiful. Unfortunately, many gamers cannot take full advantage of this due to hardware limitations. According to Nvidia, this issue will be fixed very soon, possibly within the next two months.

Chapter 4’s graphics are truly breathtaking. Unfortunately, maxing out the Fortnite settings is nearly impossible for millions of gamers. New textures require a lot of processing power, which is not many gamers can afford. However, Nvidia has a simple solution.
Fortnite is one of a few games that will receive DLSS 3 support this fall. This means that gamers using RTX 40 series graphics cards will enjoy a smoother gameplay experience. This will allow them to run the game at a higher resolution without losing frames.
Players who play Fortnite at 100 frames per second will often see boosts to 150 or even more FPS. Due to this, it’ll be possible to enjoy the beauty of the game without having to worry about the framerate. Alan Wake II, Payday 3, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 are a few other games that will receive the DLSS 3 upgrade as well.
While the upcoming upgrade is a game-changer, it does come with a few limitations. Enabling DLSS 3 increases input lag, which is not ideal for competitive gamers. Due to this, competitive players will need to enable Nvidia Reflex to decrease input lag.
However, the biggest drawback is that the upgrade will only be available on PC, and only for gamers who use an RTX 40 graphics card. Fortunately, DLSS 3’s Super Resolution and Deep Learning Anti-Aliasing will work on any RTX GPU.
