In yet another epic Fortnite gaming crossover, fans of Borderlands’ Tiny Tina can get their tiny hands on the Butt Stallion, AKA the Diamond Pony Glider, and sail into Battle Royale matches in Wonderlands’ style.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, the upcoming game from the Borderlands’ spin off Tiny Tina series, is finally released on March 24, 2022. To celebrate, Epic Games is offering fans of both Tiny Tina and Fortnite the chance to be among the first to add the glistening Diamond Pony Glider to their Fortnite locker.
How to get the Diamond Pony Glider for free
Players who are looking to purchase Tiny Tina’s Wonderland can do so through the Epic Games Store and get the Fortnite Diamond Pony Glider for free. Any purchase of the new Tiny Tina adventure that is made before March 25, 2023, at 8:59 PDT/11:59pm EDT, will reward the owner with the Glider in Fortnite. Once you have made the purchase with the Epic Games account that you use for Fortnite, the Diamond Pony will be added automatically to your Fortnite locker.
Don’t think you can cheat the system, though, as Epic Games have already answered the question regarding what happens if you refund your copy of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Yep, as you can expect, you’ll find your Glider will disappear from your locker as well.
Will the Diamond Pony Glider be added to the Fortnite Item Shop?
Yes. If you have already pre ordered Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands elsewhere or you just want the Butt Stallion Glider and not the game, then you can still purchase it with V-Bucks in Fortnite’s in-game Item Shop.
According to Epic Games, the Diamond Pony Glider will be available in the Fortnite shop for 1,200 V-Bucks from April 1 to April 8th, 2022. The Glider will become available at the usual Item Shop refresh time on April 2, which is 5pm PDT/8pm EDT. If you’re not in the Americas, this may actually be April 2, 2022, so don’t panic when you don’t see the item on April 1.
Since the Epic Games offer is open through to 2023, if you decide to purchase Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands via the Epic Games Store having already bought the Diamond Pony Glider, you will earn a one-time bonus of 1,200 V-Bucks to your Fortnite account instead.

The Diamond Pony Glider won’t be the only bonus you get if you pre order Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands through the Epic Games Store right now. You’ll also be granted the Golden Hero Armor pack, which will be delivered in-game at launch.
