How to open Krisabelle skin present in Fortnite Winterfest

Fortnite’s Winterfest kicked off on December 16th, 2021, and, as part of the festivities, you can claim a new free present every day.
Sgt Winter isn’t just driving around the island giving out gifts, he’s also letting you open a new present each day from under the tree in Crackshot’s Cozy Lodge. One of the most anticipated gifts of the lot is the new Krisabelle skin, another variant on the Isabelle and Blizzabelle skins. As we have now passed day six on Winterfest, some players can start redeeming Krisabelle now.
How to open Fortnite Winterfest presents
Each day, you are able to open a single gift as we count down to Christmas Day and beyond, thanks to Fortnite Winterfest. As with previous Winterfests, though, you can also open presents for any days you miss, so don’t panic if you can’t log on every day, you’ll still be able to redeem every gift.
Entering Crackshot’s Lodge, you will be greeted with piles of Christmas presents of all different shapes and sizes. While you can only open one a day, you can also choose which of the gifts to open. There are only two which are restricted. Simply choose which gift looks the most appealing to you each day, select it, and follow the instructions to either shake it or open it!
How to get Krisabelle skin from Sgt Winter
The two restricted gifts are the two hotly anticipated Winterfest gift skins; Krisabelle and Polar Peely. Krisabelle’s Outfit is the big, gold box on the left hand side of the room. While it looks like you might be able to open this present right away, you actually need to unwrap the six presents in front of it first. This meant that it was not possible to claim Krisabelle until Day 7 at the earliest.
Well, Day 7 of Winterfest has arrived, but that doesn’t mean you are guaranteed Krisabelle yet. You’ll only be able to open the large, gold gift if you’ve previously opened the six presents in front of it. If not, and you really want it, you know which presents you need to choose next. If you have opened the six gifts to the left of the Cabin, you should be able to select the Krisabelle present and see the option to open.
When can you get Polar Peely skin?
On the other hand is Polar Peely, the (literally) cool version of the fan-favourite banana Outfit. He’s tucked away in the icy-blue gift to the right of Sgt Winter’s armchair. As you can see, this present has a slightly different mechanic preventing you from opening it just yet. It’s frozen. Yep, Polar Peely’s ice-cold skin is seemingly so cold that it’s turned his container into an ice cube. If you’ve been paying close attention, though, you’ll notice that it’s not as frozen as it once was, slowly thawing in the warmth of the cabin’s log fire. You’ll be able to tear away the wrapping paper and reveal the blue banana as soon as the ice has completely thawed. Judging from the progress so far, this is likely to be Day 14, the final day of the Winterfest gift giving.
