The Genshin Impact 4.0 update will arrive with new artifacts, an underwater exploration mechanic, and story quests with new events and rewards. Of course, you can also expect new characters like Lynette, Lyney, and Freminet to add to your growing list of characters.

With all these new events, you may probably be wondering what the starting time for Genshin Impact 4.0 will be in your region. With returning characters like Tartaglia and Zhongli, we’re sure you’re eager to learn more about the upcoming Genshin Impact patch. 

However, in the Court of Fontaine, the Leschots Clockwork Workshop needs some help with a commission. Follow this guide to learn about all new events and rewards in Genshin Impact 4.0. 

All new events and rewards in Genshin Impact 4.0

In the new Genshin Impact 4.0 update, there will be five events Travelers can participate in. However, some events, like the Mega Meka Melee, will begin on August 24, 2023. 

Mega Meka Melee:

The Mega Meka Melee event will have three main challenges  

• Dance Dance Resolution – enter a minigame, control a Toy Adventurer, and follow the music rhythm. Time your attack to hit the target!
• Torrential Turbulent Charge – complete underwater timed trials 
• Efficacy testing Simulation Arena -Travel to the correct location to defeat enemies

When you complete the gameplay modes, you can obtain Engimatic Copper Mainsprings to exchange for rewards like the Crown of Insight and Primogems from the Event Shop. 

Additionally, with enough Engimatic Copper Mainsprings, you can invite the Trial by Fire (Pyro) Bennett. However, to be eligible to obtain this character, Travelers must reach Adventure Rank 20 or above. You must also complete the Archon quest Song of the Dragon and Freedom.

Studies in Light and Shadow: A Fontaine of Enchantment:

In this event, Travelers can participate in a quest from Bresson and harvest various items in the new Fontaine region. This is a photography event where Travelers must take pictures of the many creatures on the Fontaine map.

Rewards: 

• Primogems
• Talent Level-Up Materials
• Mora
• Character EXP Materials

Verdict of Blades:

Participate in various timed trials and defeat formidable opponents. There are four levels of difficulty: Perilous, Quandry, Desperate, and Steadfast mode.

• Mora
• Weapon Ascension Materials

Relic Records: Creations of the Hydro Nation:

In this event, players must collect various items in the new region.

• Weapon Ascension Materials

Ley Line Overflow:

This is a returning event that will reward Travelers with limited-time double drops.
