What’s in Genshin Impact 4.0?
Travelers can expect new characters like Freminet (Cryo), Lyney (Pyro), Lynette Anemo), and the new Fontaine region. Fontaine is the new water region, so players can also experience the new underwater exploration diving mechanic. Along with the additional combat oppurtinities that will come with the release date, we’ll see more changes to swing your claymore sword or get a weapon banner and complete archon quests.
The first phase of the Wish event will include new playable characters, such as Lyney, and Yelan. Lynette will be one of the 4-star characters. Additionally, the second phase will include Zhongli, Tartaglia, and Freminet.
Previously, players would face stamina issues if swimming in the water for too long. However, players will now consume Aquatic Stamina, which can be restored with Recovery Orbs.
In addition to the new artifacts and weapons, travelers can participate in new events. These include the following five events:
- Mega Meka Melee
- Relic Records: Creation of the Hydro Nation
- Studies in Light and Shadow: A Fontaine of Enchantment
- Verdict of Blades
- Ley Line Overflow
Of course, with a new region comes new rewards and the story quests, the Felis Fuscus Chapter, and new bosses, the Icewind Suite and Emperor of Fire and Iron. Genshin Impact is available for download on PlayStation, PC, and Mobile devices.
