The Kalpalata Lotus in Genshin Impact is a helpful and delicate flower that can aid in the levelling up of certain characters. It’s a key item, and one to look out for. But where exactly should you be looking? Well, the Kalpalata Lotus is found in the Sumeru Region, so use this guide to see where to find them, along with farming routes, too.

The plants in Sumeru are diverse, and the region introduced many new flora to the game. As to be expected, lots of the characters that are directly related to Sumeru need items such as the Kalpalata Lotus one to level up.

Sumeru is tricky. It’s a huge vast location, and the lotus can be pretty hard to find, so here’s a helpful guide on where to find them.

What is a Kalpalata Lotus in Genshin Impact?

As previously mentioned, the Kalpalata Lotus grows specifically in the Sumeru Region on the sides of cliffs and steep rocky faces. The properties of this item are helpful for ascending characters related to the Sumeru region.

The characters in question that need this item to ascend are both Nahida and Dori.

These flowers will always grow on the slopes of mountains and cliff faces, so when in doubt, check there only!

As with most materials in the game, it takes two real-world days for them to respawn. So, farming routes that are efficient is a priority. We will move on to locations and farming routes next, so read on if you’d like.

Where to find the Kalpalata Lotus

If you’re only after a few Kalpalata Lotus, you can easily purchase up to 5 five of them for 1000 Mora from the NPC, Aramani, in Vanarana. However, it should be noted that it does take three days for stock to replenish. There’s a good interactive map you can look at here.

Alternatively, if you’re looking for a place to farm the Kalpalata Lotus, here’s where you can look:

  • South from Vimara Village and around Mawtiyima Fores
  • In Apam Woods and north from Ruins of Dahri
  • Around Vanarana and in the southeast region of Devantaka Mountain
  • Gandharva Ville and northwest from Yazadaha Pool

You can easily alternate and rotate between these locations to ensure you can find enough of the plant in no time at all!
