Who is Pulcinella, The Rooster in Genshin Impact?
Pulcinella, also known by his codename The Rooster, is the fifth member of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. He is also a person of great interest and influence as he serves as the Mayor of the thriving city of Snezhnaya. He is a short older man with a long pointy nose and a well-groomed mustache.
Pulcinella has a strategic mindset and was thus hand-picked by Pierro to join Fatui’s cause. Pierro, The Jester, was also the very first member of the Fatui and is known to recruit several members, such as Il Dottore, Scaramouche, and Signora.
However, though Pulcinella is shown to be calculating, little is known about his motivations. Like all strategists, Pulcinella will not hesitate to sacrifice less valuable assets for a more significant cause. In the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview trailer, we can see Pulcinella on his throne, surrounded by an aura of ice. Thus we can speculate Pulcinella has possession of a Cryo Vision or Delusion in Genshin Impact.
He also inducted Tartaglia into the Fatui and seemed to care for his family as he would bring Tonia and Teucer gifts or pastries. Pulcinella found Tartaglia when he was 14; during this time, he was known as Ajax. He was thus impressed by Tartaglia’s immense strength. This led him to take him under his wing and conspired to make Tartaglia join the Fatui under the guise of serving Tsaritsa as punishment.
