What is the best build for Scaramouche in Genshin Impact 

Scaramouche, also known as the Wanderer, is a 5-Star Catalyst Anemo character in Genshin Impact. Though he may have gone by various names in his previous incarnation and even found himself in the Fatui Harbingers, he now retains the name, Wanderer. 

The best weapons for your Scaramouche build in Genshin Impact 

The best weapon for Wanderer (Scaramouche) is the Tulaytullah’s Remembrance, a 5-Star Catalyst. This weapon can increase Normal Attack Speed by 10%. 

After the wielder unleashes an Elemental Skill, Normal Attack DMG will increase by 4.8% every second for 14s. After this character hits an opponent with a Normal Attack, the Normal Attack DMG will be increased by 9.6%. You can trigger this increase once every 0.3 seconds. The max Normal Attack DMG increase is 48%. However, this effect will be removed when the wielder leaves the field, and using your Elemental skill again will reset all DMG buffs. 

Memory of Dust, another 5-Star Catalyst weapon, will increase Shield Strength by 20%. Scoring hits on opponents increase ATK by 4% for 8 seconds; it can stack 5 times. When a Shield protects you, this ATK will increase its effectiveness by 100%. This weapon will work great if you have Bennett on your team.

Additionally, you can use the Lost Prayer to the Scared Winds. This Catalyst weapon will increase Movement SPD by 10%. In battle, you will gain an 8% Elemental damage bonus every 4 seconds; this can stack 4 times. 

The best Artifacts for your Scaramouche build in Genshin Impact 

Artifacts can significantly increase your character’s stats and provide extra buffs. For the Wanderer (Scaramouche), you will want to focus your stats on CRIt Rate and DMG over ATK and Energy Recharge.

Desert Pavilion Chronicle (4-Piece Recommended)

  • 2-Piece: Anemo DMG Bonus +15%
  • 4-Piece: When Charged Attacks hit opponents, the equipping characters Normal Attack SPD will increase by 10% while Normal, Charging, and Plunging Attack DMG will increase by 40% for 10 seconds. 

Shimenawa’s Reminiscence 

  • 2-Piece: ATK +18%
  • 4-Piece: When casting an Elemental Skill, if the character has 15 or more Energy, they lose 15 Energy, and Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG is increased by 50% for 10 seconds. 

Viridescent Venerer   

  • 2-Piece: Anemo DMG bonus +15%
  • 4-Piece: Increases Swirl DMG by 60%. Will Decrease the opponent’s Elemental DMG RES to the element infused in the Swirl by 40% for 10 seconds. 

Scaramouche’s Talents in Genshin Impact 

For the Wanderer (Scaramouche), you first want to focus on his Elemental Skill, then Normal Attack and Elemental Burst. The Elemental Skill will significantly increase the Wanderer’s Normal Attacks.

Normal Attack

Yuuban Meigen – Pefroms up to 3 attacks using wind blades; it will deal Anemo Damage.

Charged Attack

Yuuban Meigen – Consumes a certain amount of stamina, gathers a build-up of high wind pressure and deals AoE Anemo DMG. 

Plunging Attack

Yuuban Meigen – Calling upon the power of Anemo, the Wanderer (Scaramouche) plunges toward the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents. He will deal AoE Anemo DMG upon impact.

Elemental Skill

Hanega: Song of the Wind – Concentrates the power of the winds to break free from the shackles of the earth, dealing AoE Anemo DMG before leaping into the air and entering the Windfavored State. 

Normal and Charged Attacks will be converted into Kuugo: Fushoudan and Kuugo: Toufukai. These attacks will have increased damage, and Kuugo: Toukai will not costume stamina. 

Elemental Burst

Kyougen: Five Ceremonial Plays – Will compress the atmosphere into a singular vacuum that grinds all troubles away, dealing instances of AoE Anemo DMG. Additionally, if the Wanderer (Scaramouche) is in the Windfavored State, the State will end after casting this attack.

Scaramouche’s Constellations in Genshin Impact

Additionally, once you increase the Wanderer’s Constellations, he will have passive abilities to increase his Talents. 

  • Shoban: Ostentatious Plumage (C1) – When in Windfavored State, the Attack SPD of the Wanderer’s (Scaramouche) Kuugo: Fushoudan and Kuugo: Toufukai is increased by 10%
  • Niban: Isle Amidst White Waves (C2) – In the Windfavored State, Kyougen: Five Ceremonial Plats will have its DMG increased by 4% per point of difference between the max amount of Kuugoryoku Points constructed with Kuugoryoku’s present capacity when using this skill. 
  • Sanban: Moonflower Kusemai (C3) – Increases the Level of Kyougen: Five Ceremonial Plays by 3
  • Yonban: Set Adrift into Spring (C4) – When casting Hanega: Song of the Wind, if the passive Talent Jade-Claimed Flower is triggered, the Wanderer (Scaramouche) will gain buffs in corresponds to the contacted Elemental types. 
  • Matsuban: Ancient Illuminator from Abroad (C5) – Increases the Level of Hanega: Song of the Wind by 3
  • Shugen: The Curtain’s Melancholic Sway (C6) – When in a Windfavored state, will deal damage equal to 40% of the attack’s original damage. 

Using this build, you can turn the Wanderer (Scaramouche) into your main DPS with these artifact sets and weapons.
