Redfall has you exploring a coastal town while trying to take out the vampires that have taken over. When you first awake, you will be on a ship. Sure, you can leave pretty quickly, but if you want to collect all the items on board, you will want to find the Ferry Deck Key.
Just like many other games, keys play a big role in Redfall. There are many locked doors and chests for you to open and keys are the answer. This guide will show you how to find the Ferry Deck Key in Redfall.
Where to find the Ferry Deck key in Redfall
When you wake up on the boat, you won’t be able to attack. This means you won’t be able to access the area where the Ferry Deck key is. Head down to the bottom of the boat and you will find a gun in a car. Once you have the gun, you will be able to use your melee attack.
After getting the gun, head back up the stairs to the room where you got the medical supplies. Go to the far side of the room and use your gun or your melee attack to break the window. Once outside, turn to the right and you will see a hatch with a trail of blood leading to it like in the image above.
Jump down the hatch and you will find a body hanging. You should be able to spot the Ferry Deck Key hanging from the body via a lanyard. Now you just need to hope your game doesn’t have problems before using the key.
How to use the Ferry Deck Key
Once you have your hands on the key, you can use it on the double doors opposite the side where you smashed the window. These doors will lead you to the back of the ship where there is yet another dead body. Ignore the red mist for now. Instead, focus on the dead body that is carrying a shotgun for you to pick up. Now you are free to leave the ship and get your character’s first abilities.
