Blizzard Entertainments’ latest installment of the Diablo series will include a new mechanic in which players must complete various tasks to obtain Grim Favors. It was first introduced in the Closed End Game Beta, where multiple features, such as Helltide, Nightmare Dungeons, Fields of Hatred, Whispers of the Dead, and Paragon Boards, will offer a different set of rewards. So, follow this guide to learn how to get and use Grim Favors in Diablo 4.
How do you get Grim Favors in Diablo 4?
Grim Favors is a new currency players can exchange for a bevy of loot and experience points when completing Whispers of the Dead. To get Grim Favors, you must do the associated task to obtain Whispers from the Tree of Whispers. However, you cannot complete the various Whispers until you complete one of the Main Questline in Diablo IV; you can access the tree by completing this quest. Though unfortunately, the location of the Tree of Whispters is currently unknown.
These Whispers will take place in different areas of the Sanctuary. Once you have completed your task, you will be rewarded with EXP, Gold, Nightmare Sigils, and Grim Favors. While progressing through the game, you will have different types of Whispers pop up on your map, with new ones becoming available each day.
How do you use Grim Favors in Diablo 4?
For every 10 number of Grim Favors you obtain, you can go back to the Tree of Whispers and exchange them for rewards. Do note that the amount of Grim Favors you receive will differ from each Whisper you complete. Once you have completed this task, you can access the Whispers of the Dead system. However, it will be slightly different for those participating in the Closed-Beta. They will be able to access this mode from the start.
