You can unlock skill points in Diablo 4 by leveling up and through the renown system. To start, leveling up is very simple. All you need to do is defeat enemies, complete story and side quests, and raid dungeons. Doing this will get you experience and bonus xp that will level your character up.
Each level up to 50 will get you a skill point that you can spend on skills, passive skills, talents, and enhancements. Remember, level 50 is the level cap. You can also raise the world tier level to get experience faster.
The renown points system will also get you extra skill points. Each region will offer a few extra skill points to add to your pool. Each location will grant you three extra skill points for a total of 15.
Can you respec skill points in Diablo 4?
Yes, you can respec your skill points in Diablo 4 thanks to the respec system. If you don’t like the skill upgrades, passives, or powerful skills you put your points into, you can switch them around.
You can refund any skill point that you have placed so long as it doesn’t break a dependency that another skill has. Up until level seven, the cost of doing this is free. After level seven, the gold cost will continue to rise each time you reallocate a point.
