When you think about going berserk, your mind probably goes straight to the barbarian class. There is a good reason for this. Barbarians are known for going into a blinding rage and beating up any enemy that gets in their way.

When you want to deal some extra damage and show the enemies whose boss, you will want to enter berserk mode. Of course, there is a specific method by which you need to do this. This guide will show you how to go berserk in Diablo 4.

Diablo 4 – How to enter the berserk status

To enter berserk mode in Diablo 4, you will first need to be playing as a barbarian. Unfortunately, this status is only available to barbarians and not available to druids, sorcerers, necromancers, or any of the other classes in the game.

While playing as the barbarian, look for skills that grant the berserking status effect. If a skill allows you to enter this status effect, it will state it in the description of the skill. The duration of this effect is typically very short like one or two seconds.

Upgrading your skills will increase the amount of time you can spend berserking. The following skills will grant the berserking effect:

  • Aggressive Resistance
  • Wrath of the Berserker
  • Battle Fervor
  • Prolific Fury
  • Combat Lunging Strike
  • Violent Upheaval
  • Enhanced War Cry
  • Battle Frenzy
  • Fighter’s Steel Grasp
  • Warrior’s Death Blow
  • Furious Double Swing

Some of the berserking skills are great for crowd control as well as staggering bosses. Using any of these skills will grant berserking and you’ll get all the bonus damage and other berserk gain.

What does berserking do in Diablo 4?

Berserk is a great status effect because it increases your character’s stats. For starters, while berserking, you have 25% increased damage and your movement speed is increased by 30%. There are no other benefits to this status effect.

Unfortunately, the berserk status effect doesn’t grant you damage reduction or increased attack speed. Remember, upgrading your skills will increase the effect of berserking and allow you to enter this mode for longer periods of time.

Barbarians have plenty of perks, such as great brawling skills to use, core and basic skills with direct damage, and plenty of other bonuses.
