The sequel to the incredibly popular Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is finally here with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and with it new worlds to explore new monsters to slay. You will once again travel as Link across the land of Hyrule, gearing up to fight the evil Ganondorf in his quest to take over the land.
Link will need plenty of weapons on his journey to find Princess Zelda, and with a limited amount you can carry at the start of the game, you’re going to need more. How do you increase your weapon slots? That’s what we’re here to tell you.
How to get more weapon slots in The Legend of Zelda Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Just like its predecessor The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom lets you upgrade your inventory slots for your weapon stash by finding Korok seeds. You’ll then take these korok seeds to the maraca-playing Korok, Hestu. He’ll ask you what inventory you’d like to increase, and you can choose weapons from his options. There are two others you can choose as well:
- Bow inventory
- Shield inventory
Just choose weapons, and there you go! Hestu will perform his song and dance and now you are able to stash more weapons while you journey across the land of Hyrule, both in the sky and below ground. You will have to increasingly give more and more Korok seeds to continue expanding the inventory, so it will get progressively more difficult to get more.
How to get Korok seeds for increasing weapon slots in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Korok seeds can be found all throughout the overworld by completing small puzzles like putting rocks in the right formation or helping a little Korok traveler return to his buddy. You’ll get the seeds as rewards for completing the side quest. They are in different locations than Breath of the Wild, so get creative and search high and low. Plus, the Koroks are super cute, so they’re worth finding anyway.
