Once you have chosen a class in Diablo 4, specifically Necromancer, you might want to learn how to summon Skelly Mages or Skeleton Mages. Of course, there are various classes to choose from, such as Barbarian, Druid, Rogue, and Sorceress, but using the undead to do your bidding is an excellent way to do more damage. As a result, you might be wondering how you can summon your perfect undead army. So, follow this guide on how to summon Skelly Mages in Diablo 4.

How do you summon Skelly Mages in Diablo 4?

After choosing the Necromancer class, you will be able to Raise Skeletons. At Lv 1, you will have the ability to raise Skeletal Warriors. However, you must first unlock the Book of the Dead to summon Skelly Mages. The Book of the Dead will become available immediately once you reach Lv 15 in Diablo 4.

Once you unlock the Book of the Dead, you can only summon Shadow Mages at Lv 15. Here’s how to do it:

  • To summon a Skelly Mage, click on your Character Menu and select Book of the Dead.
  • You will have three options, Skeletal Warriors, Skeletal Mages, and Golems.
  • Select Skeletal Mages.
  • Once again, you will have three options, Shadow, Cold, and Bone.
  • Depending on your level, select your preferred minion.
  • Select the type of attack you want your Mages to perform.
  • Now, exit and select Raise Skeleton.
  • You can now summon both Skeletal Warriors and Skelly Mages.

Each minion in the Book of the Dead will have three upgrades. As for Skeleton Mages, it will have Shadow Mages, Cold Mages, and Bone Mages. However, you can unlock Cold Mages at Lv 18 and Bone Mages at Lv 22.

These Skeletal Mages can bombard your enemies at a range. As a result, Shadow Mages will deal moderate Shadow Damage. Cold Mages can chill your enemies until Frozen; they will be vulnerable until the effects wear off. As for Bone Mages, they will attack your enemies with their bodies, using their bones as projectiles.
