Fans of 2019’s Modern Warfare will remember the silent assassin operator Konig as one of the cooler base operator skins in the game. Wearing a netting to cover his face and being one of the more ruthless sounder operators, everyone wanted to play as him.

With the release of MW2, we got a whole new cast of operators to pick from alongside the original 2019 operators, including Konig. However, much like in 2019’s MW, you have to complete an objective in order to unlock him. Let’s go over how you can unlock Konig in MW2.

How To Get Konig in MW2

In order to unlock Konig, you will need to get someone with a finishing move in either Warzone, DMZ, or multiplayer. The easiest place to do this will most likely be in multiplayer as you can quickly respawn and try again until you manage to get it. Playing some of the larger modes like Ground War will give you more players to choose from and more room to work with to sneak up behind the enemy.

Sadly it won’t count if you use a finisher on an AI or else it would be quite an easy challenge to get done. You could also try out some of the new nighttime maps as you can be a bit sneakier on those if you use the right skins.

Since you only need to get one finisher on someone, the challenge can seem quite simple and be done within a single match. But sometimes managing to sneak up on someone and have the finisher work properly can be a bit difficult.

Having a friend distract someone with a riot shield can help out, as the enemy will be too busy trying to deal with them and not notice you coming up from behind. Just make sure to hold down the melee button instead of tapping it, as sometimes it will just pop the person with your gun butt rather than perform the move.
