While many games do get added to Game Pass almost every week, they tend to be older releases that most have already played if they were interested in it. Sometimes a new indie game will release right to Game Pass, but it is the big titles that most are looking for.

While Dead Island 2 won’t be coming to Game Pass day one, it could come onto the service later down the line. But at this point, most will have already played through it and be done with it.
