Foamstars from Square Enix is the newest 4v4 party shooter and is bringing fresh, foam based combat to the gaming world. Since it’s a party game there is obviously an emphasis on multiplayer as well as using the foam in a variety of ways. Foamstars revealed its first trailer and already has fans wondering what platforms the game will be available on. Will Foamstars be on PC?
Is Foamstars available on PC?
Foamstars was shown in the reveal trailer released at the PlayStation Showcase that the game will be available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Sadly, this means PC fans won’t have access to the game on any PC platforms like Steam or Epic Games Store, at least with our current information. If the platforms change, we will update this article.
Foamstars is a bright and colorful new party shooter from Square Enix, which lets players shoot foam at each other for control of a battlefield. Foam is not only used for ammunition, but has multiple uses.
These versatile uses include building up foam along the terrain to create new structures to stand on, as well as using your surfboard to traverse the map, and using foam as defense against enemy player’s attacks.
The game will also feature a colorful cast of characters, the Foamstars if you will, that will feature a wide range of abilities all with different strengths and weaknesses for players to experiment with as they blast foam and bubbles at each other.
It’s likely that Foamstars will be a PlayStation exclusive title, as a possible competitor to Nintendo’s party shooter Splatoon.
If you aren’t on a PS4 or PS5, now might be the perfect time to join the platform, as many other exclusive titles like Phantom Blade Zero were shown off during the showcase.
