Star Wars: Jedi Survivor is finally here – and for those with Steam Decks, you may want to find out if you can run it and enjoy it on the move. That’s where we come in – you’ll find all the information right here. Jedi Survivor is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Jedi: Fallen Order and once again sees protagonist Cal Kestis and the loveable droid BD-1 return as the heroes. Many of the recent triple-A releases have come with support for the Steam Deck, but is this the case for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor? Let’s take a look.

Is Jedi Survivor On Steam Deck?

Yes. Star Wars: Jedi Survivor can be played on Steam Deck and thanks to Steam’s latest update, you can expect it run pretty well on the platform, too. That’s because as per the official page, Steam confirmed they have, “Updated the graphics driver with performance improvements for STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor”. A word of warning, though – there are reports the game is facing some performance issues on PC, and has actually received a ton of negative reviews on Steam. Just be aware that these will be patched in time.

To install the game on to Steam Deck, please follow the simple steps below.

  • From the STEAM menu, select Power, then Switch to Desktop
  • Go to the Steam client – click ‘add a game’ in the lower left corner

This is great news for fans looking to play Jedi Survivor on Day 1, after there were initial worries it wouldn’t be supported. Sadly, the same level of support wasn’t available for those on Xbox Game Pass. It was even worse news for last gen console owners, who won’t be able to play the game on PS4 and Xbox One.
