Detective simulator Shadows of Doubt puts you in the shoes and trench coat of a private investigator. You’ll solve crimes, stop murderers, and investigate clues all in order to track down suspects and increase your skills. It’s available through Steam but many may be wondering if they pick it up on PlayStation.

If you want to know whether or not you’ll be able to solve a mystery on the PS5, we’ve got you covered.

Is Shadows of Doubt on PS5?

No, Shadows of Doubt is only available to download on PC via Steam. However, that doesn’t mean it may appear elsewhere, such as the PS5 at some point or another. Curranty, the game will seemingly remain a Steam exclusive, at least for the time being. The developing team has yet to state if the game will ever release on another console. Until that time comes, players will only be able to enjoy the single-player game via a computer.

With that being the case, players are able to play the game through Steam and coincidentally they can enjoy it on Steam Deck as well.

Is Shadows of Doubt on PS4?

Again, developer ColePowered Games has yet to state if the game will come to the PlayStation family of consoles at all. Without an official confirmation, it’s difficult to say if Shadows of Doubt will release on the PlayStation 4. Let alone the PlayStation 5.

Without any concrete announcement from either the developer or publisher, it’s unsure if the private investigator simulator will release on either console. It’s worth nothing that previous games created by ColePowered Games have released on PC and consoles.

As for Shadows of Doubt, it seems players will only be able to solve cases on Steam, at least for the foreseeable future. The demo and Early Access versions of the game were strictly released on PC as well.
