As you try to find Greez and get the Mantis fixed, you will come across a large door in a cave. This locked door will lead you to a fight with a Vashtan Wolfe as well as the rewards that come with it. However, you can’t just simply knock on this door to open it. Let’s go over how you can open the Vashtan Wolfe fight door in Jedi Survivor.

How To Open The Vashtan Wolfe Door On Koboh

In order to open the door to the Vashtan Wolfe, you need the Electro Dart upgrade for BD-1. With the upgrade, you will need to shoot the blue lantern next to the door to open it. You won’t get this upgrade until later on in the game, which means you won’t be getting to this fight during the free trial.

In order to get the electro dart ability for BD-1, you need to reach the search for the compass mission later in the game. That’s the point you will unlock the dart and can then fast-travel back to this door on Koboh and open it.

Once you shoot the dart, the door won’t actually open. This isn’t a bug like many of the other issues on the PC version of Jedi Survivor, but instead, what is supposed to happen. The door was all a ruse and instead baits you into the fight with the Vashtan Wolfe.

You do still get rewarded for coming all the way back to this door with the electro dart, as the chest next to the door will now unlock. However, you need to fight the Vashtan Wolfe in order to gain access to it.

The fight with it is nothing compared to the Rancor, just make sure you can keep up with its moves. Outside of that, it is a fairly standard miniboss fight. With Vashtan Wolfe dead, you can loot the chest to get the two-tone Lightsaber cosmetic scheme. However, the door will still remain closed.

It seems there is no actual way to open this door no matter which side you come at it from. Just another joke that the game has to throw your way like the poncho you can find for Cal.
