In MLB the Show 23, there are a lot of different scenarios where you will need to hit. Unless you’re playing Road to the Show as a pitcher only, you will need to hit. Hitting is a big component of every single game mode, so it’s important to know how to do it. The hitting view is important to that.

There are quite a few different hitting views to try in MLB The Show. This can dramatically affect the timing of your swing and your perception of the ball. Choosing the right one is very important, so here are the best ones.

What hitting view do I use in MLB The Show 23?

The standard hitting view, which is the default that remains so unless you physically go in and change it, is a pretty good view to use, which is why it’s the standard. This allows players to get a straightforward view of the strike zone and the pitcher. They can see pretty much everything they need to without it being too zoomed in or too far out.

Strike Zone is a popular hitting view, too. Many players like it because it makes the zone bigger on the screen, which is helpful to read balls and strikes. It cuts off half of the batter’s body, but that’s not the most necessary thing in hitting.

Strike Zone High is another good one. It angles the same view from higher up, which allows you to see the pitcher a little better and read the motion of the ball better. It has the same strike zone advantage as the previous view, but even more of the batter is cut off.

We also recommend that you take the time to try out each different hitting view for yourself. Some players love a particular hitting view and others hate it. It’s all down to your individual preference. While some have advantages, whatever works best for you is the one you should use.
