The latest season from Activision for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone is finally here, with plenty of new content for players to enjoy. Each season update brings new maps, operators, and weapons to the game.

As soon as Season 5 of MW2 and Warzone starts, provided they’ve completed the update, fans can dive straight into a multitude of new features and begin working on their battle pass. The new content, of course, includes new weapons for use.

What are the new weapons Season 5 of MW2 and Warzone is adding? We’ve got all the new weapons added in Season 5 right here.

All new weapons in Season 5 of MW2 and Warzone

There are six new weapons being added throughout the course of Season 5, all revealed in the official blog post:

  • FR Avancer Assault Rifle
  • Carrack .300 Sniper Rifle
  • M13C Assault Rifle
  • A new SMG
  • A new Sidearm
  • A new Pickaxe Melee Weapon

Both the FR Avancer and Carrack .300 will be available at the launch of Season 5 to dominate multiplayer with, while the M13C and the three unnamed weapons will be added in-season at other points.

FR Avancer Assault Rifle

The FR Avancer is a bullpup assault rifle with an incredibly fast firing rate. It’s fast, aggressive, and for those who know how to handle its recoil, it’s the perfect weapon to quickly take out targets. The FR Avancer will be free to earn in the Battle Pass and is expected to be one of the best assault rifles in the game.

Carrack .300 Sniper Rifle

The Carrack .300 is a semi-auto bullpup sniper rifle with amazing power even at the furthest distances. The semi-auto design lets players fire at a great rate for a sniper rifle, and in the hands of a sharpshooter, is incredibly deadly. This sniper will be available to earn for free through the Battle Pass, just like the FR Avancer.

M13C Assault Rifle

Another assault rifle to add to the bunch, the M13C is a versatile full-auto weapon that’s great as a primary or a secondary weapon to a sniper rifle. Not much is known about it, as it is releasing in-season. This includes how to unlock the gun.

New SMG

The new SMG will be released sometime during Season 5 and features an integrated suppressor that makes it near silent at close-range.

New Sidearm

A new Sidearm will also be added to the lineup for those wanting more power at mid-range, and more flexibility. It will also release during Season 5.

Pickaxe

The Pickaxe will be coming to the melee weapons pool during Season 5 as well. This melee weapon is described as simple, yet effective for all players.

There’s plenty more than just new weapons to enjoy during Season 5. Six new operators including Oz, Graves, Arthur, Mila, Velikan, and Mace, and celebrity operators Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, and 21 Savage. All of these operators will be available before mid-season. There are new vehicles like the MRAP and Dirt Bike, new maps like the core map Punta Mar and gunfight map Lounge, and new game modes.

Season 5 also sees the Shadow Company take over BlackCell, the Vondel Champion’s quest, gunfight variants, new field upgrades, new modes, and perks. There are also new features for the DMZ map along with the Vondel quest and a Reveal Event for the first look at Call of Duty 2023.

Of course, there is a new battle pass with Premium tiers, battle pass bundles, and perk packages for players to take advantage of all the new content found in the missions, Team Deathmatch, Elimination, Gunfight Custom, and all other modes.

All of these additions and changes can be found as soon as Season 5 of MW2 and War zone launches for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation on August 2. Faceoff against opponents and join the celebration of the latest update.
