With another new season of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone comes a host of new content Activision has dropped for fans to enjoy. Each season brings plenty for players to earn, and Season 5 is no different.
This includes new operators, new game modes, and of course, new weapons to earn. This includes the new FR Avancer Assault Rifle.

How to get FR Avancer in MW2 and Warzone
The FR Avancer Assault Rifle is unlocked on Sector E8 of the Free Battle Pass for Season 5. Working your way up through the battle pass is the only way to earn this midrange behemoth, but it’s free for everyone. You don’t need to purchase the Premium Battle Pass or BlackCell Bundle to get this rifle.
There are a few ways you can rank up quickly in the battle pass, like:
- Play DMZ
- Play Multiplayer
- Buy Battle Pass Tokens
These are all various ways to level up quickly in the battle pass and earn the rewards quicker.
The FR Avancer is an aggressive bullpup rifle with a blinding fire rate that is incredibly deadly in the right hands. With exceptional maneuverability and strong vertical recoil, this rifle can easily dominate the battlefield, even from tons of meters away.
The fast-firing bullpup rifle isn’t the only new weapon you can find in Season 5, as the Carrack .300 Sniper Rifle can also be found in the Battle Pass Sector and more weapons will be added with the latest updates.
There’s plenty more to enjoy in Season 5 of MW2 and Warzone, including new operators like Oz, Mila, Arthur, Graves, and Velikan, new celebrity operators like Snoop Dogg and Nicki Minaj, new maps like Punta Mar added to the rotation, and new game modes like various Gunfight variants and Big Capture the Flag.
