The newest title in the famous Call of Duty franchise is finally on its way with Call of Duty Modern Warfare III. The Modern Warfare games have been among the most popular in the series, so fans are excited to see its next game with returning story and cast.
As soon as MW3 releases, fans will have plenty to look forward to with the return of zombies and other fan-favorite game modes. Also returning is some of the beloved cast of previous Modern Warfare games.

Cast List for MW3
Here’s the confirmed cast list for MW3 that we have so far:
- Captain John Price – Barry Sloane
- Vladimir Makarov – Julian Kostov
Both characters have been confirmed to be in-game through promotional material and the official word from Activision. The voice actors will for sure be in MW3 and reprise their character roles.
Captain Price, portrayed by English actor Barry Sloane, is a fan-favorite character who has been shown all over the promotional material for MW3, including the cover art. The character’s first appearance was all the way back in the original Modern Warfare, and fans are excited about his return to the series in this direct sequel.
Vladimir Makarov, portrayed by Julian Kostov, will feature as the main antagonist for the game and while he is a popular villain, is one of the more controversial characters in CoD’s history. He appeared in the first Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and has had a negative reputation since as a terrorist leader. He received his own dedicated character trailer and has been shown off in the reveal trailer. Fans are pumped for the return of Vladimir Makarov who will be back come November.

The following cast list are those expected to return to the game, but so far are not confirmed outright by Activision:

- Kyle ‘Gaz’ Garrick – Elliot Knight
- Sergeant John ‘Soap’ MacTavish – Neil Ellice
- Colonel Alejandro Vargas – Alain Mesa
- General Shepherd – Glenn Morshower
- Phillip Graves – Warren Kole
- Alex Keller – Chad Michael Collins
- Farah Ahmed Karim – Claudia Doumit
- Station Chief Kate Laswell – Rya Kihlstedt
Many are expecting these characters to return to the series, including known leaker CharlieIntel. However, fans will have to wait to see if these characters become officially confirmed.
There are also expected to be brand-new characters coming to the latest CoD title as both supporting role cast and members of the task force. The reboots for Modern Warfare have always featured new characters and it’s one of the favorite features of the series. They’ll make their debut along with all the returning cast when the game releases.
