VC, or Virtual Currency, is very important in NBA 2K24. It’s used for MyPLAYER upgrades, MyTEAM packs, increasing attributes, and other purchases within 2K. Therefore, earning it is perhaps the most important thing you can do in this game. Here are the different ways you can do just that.

How do I earn VC in NBA 2K24?

Fortunately, there are more than a few ways to earn VC in NBA 2K24. The best way to do so is simply by grinding MyCAREER mode. This mode may depend on Virtual Currency more than any other one, so it makes sense that the two are tied together in this way. For playing a game, there are VC rewards. Other activities that you’d probably do anyway grant VC rewards, so it’s a good way to passively increase your income.

As boring as it may sound, watching the NBA 2KTV episodes works, too. During MyCAREER games, loading screens where players can watch episodes of 2KTV and complete polls and trivia questions come up. Just 15 minutes of this can grant you almost 2,000 VC.

Grinding the Neighborhood works well, too. The 2v2 or 3v3 modes are great for earning VC. This is another thing you’d organically do, so keep doing it and watch the currency roll in.

Ante Up is not the safest way to earn VC since it is technically gambling. Nevertheless, this game mode allows you to wager your own money on your own games. If you win, you’ll make more money. This is one of the only ways you can lose VC, though.

Keep an eye on daily rewards and locker codes. These are often a great way to earn VC without doing anything. These are not specific to any edition or platform for the game.
