Picking the right team in MyCAREER is important. You can’t always choose your favorite team if you play a certain position. For example, it would be unwise to play for the Phoenix Suns as a power forward because they have Kevin Durant there. Shooting guard (Devin Booker), small forward (Bradley Beal), and center (DeAndre Ayton) aren’t good, either. Here are some good teams that you can play for at each position.

NBA 2K24 Best team for PG

For a point guard, the Boston Celtics are a great team to play for. Derrick White is the current starter, so there’s not a lot of competition for minutes. Getting to play alongside and feed assists to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown is great, too.

Other good teams to choose for point guard include:

• Minnesota Timberwolves
• New Orleans Pelicans
• San Antonio Spurs

NBA 2K24 Best team for SG

The best team to join if you’re a shooting guard is the Milwaukee Bucks. They don’t have an elite shooting guard in the lineup, and you’d be able to play with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton. It wouldn’t be difficult to outplay Grayson Allen for the starting role, either.

NBA 2K24 Best team for SF

Small forwards should choose to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Max Strus is a fine player, but he’s not much competition for your MyPLAYER. Plus, having Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, and Donovan Mitchell around you on offense would make for a very good situation.

• Houston Rockets
• Memphis Grizzlies
• Washington Wizards

NBA 2K24 Best team for PF

If you are playing power forward, you should try to play for the Los Angeles Clippers. Nicolas Batum isn’t much competition for minutes at that position, and Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and yourself can make for a very dynamic trio.

• Philadelphia 76ers

NBA 2K24 Best team for C

If you are a center, you should try and play for the Golden State Warriors. They would currently have a very small lineup that features Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Chris Paul, Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green. You could easily force one to the bench and start at the five.
