Who are the best shooting guards in NBA 2K24?

Note: This does not include power forwards (PF) or shooting guards (SG) who can also play small forward, such as Jayson Tatum, DeMar DeRozan, Anthony Edwards, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jaylen Brown, Zach Lavine, and others. All official ratings come from the 2K ratings page.

  1. Michael Porter Jr. – 83 OVR
  2. Franz Wagner – 84 OVR
  3. Desmond Bane – 85 OVR
  4. Khris Middleton – 86 OVR
  5. Mikal Bridges – 87 OVR
  6. Brandon Ingram – 87 OVR
  7. Paul George – 89 OVR
  8. Kawhi Leonard – 94 OVR
  9. Jimmy Butler – 95 OVR
  10. LeBron James – 96 OVR

10) Michael Porter Jr. – 83 OVR

Michael Porter Jr. has never met a shot he didn’t like, and he’s rarely met a shot he didn’t make. He is capable of taking and making difficult shots, which is a skill that most players do not have. Porter was instrumental for the Denver Nuggets’ title run and his impressive 2K rating reflects that.

9) Franz Wagner – 84 OVR

Franz Wagner is one of the youngest players on this list. The third-year forward for the Orlando Magic has a very bright future and he will likely to continue rising up this list. The fact that he’s in the top 10 for his position in NBA 2K24 in his third year is very impressive.

8) Desmond Bane – 85 OVR

Desmond Bane burst onto the scene with the Memphis Grizzlies thanks to an exceptional three-point shot. He could nail deep shots from almost anywhere on the floor regardless of the defense. That proved to be valuable asset for Memphis and he has grown into a very well-rounded player.

7) Khris Middleton – 86 OVR

Khris Middleton is a standout forward for the Milwaukee Bucks. The two-way player is a strong perimeter defender who can shoot the three and slash to the basket. Small forward is a pretty deep position, but Middleton comes in firmly in the top 10.

6) Mikal Bridges – 87 OVR

Opposing teams need to know where Brooklyn Nets forward Mikal Bridges is at all times. He is a prime candidate to steal the ball and completely change the momentum of the game. His three-point shot is improving and he has an elite wingspan to make him a terrific player.

5) Brandon Ingram – 87 OVR

New Orleans Pelicans superstar Brandon Ingram is a very good player. He has a good jump shot, good finishing, and is a pretty stout defender, too. He’ll once again have very good perks, attributes and a sterling 87 overall rating.

4) Paul George – 89 OVR

Paul George pairs with Kawhi Leonard to make one of the strongest defensive frontcourt duos in all of basketball. Injuries and age may have sapped his prime, but he can still dunk, shoot and defend with the best of them.

3) Kawhi Leonard – 94 OVR

Kawhi Leonard is a perennial Defensive Player of the Year candidate who can grab rebounds and score points to go along with it. A rare two-way player, Leonard has a lot of badges for the Los Angeles Clippers and is once again a great 2K player.

2) Jimmy Butler – 95 OVR

During the regular season, Jimmy Butler is a great player, but he morphs into an unstoppable force in the NBA playoffs. He carried the play-in, eight seeded Miami Heat to the NBA Finals and even won a game there. He is one of the best players in basketball, and he was rewarded with an excellent 2K rating. His perimeter defense is rivaled by few others.

1) LeBron James – 96 OVR

Even at the age of 38, LeBron James is a supreme talent in the NBA. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar and focus of the MyNBA LeBron era, James enters as a 96. Not only is that impressive for his age, it’s the second-highest overall in the entire game. He will probably stay around this range until he retires, if that day ever comes.
