VC, otherwise known as Virtual Currency, is vital in any 2K game, and that remains true for NBA 2K24. It’s the lifeblood of many game modes, like MyPLAYER, MyTEAM, and MyCAREER. Without it, you’d have a difficult time making your players better or making them look good. If you make an accidental purchase or want to start a new build, can you get the spent VC back?

Can I get VC back in NBA 2K24?

Unfortunately, sales for VC are final. When you spend your Virtual Currency, whether it’s on packs, boosts, badges, or anything else, it is gone after that. When it’s spent on something, all you have from then on is that item you purchased.

The only possible scenario in which you could get VC back is if there was an accidental purchase that you didn’t make, such as a glitch. If the game spends your VC on accident, you could contact 2K and get your currency back, but even that is a long shot that has no guarantees.

This is true no matter what platform or console you’re on. PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch users cannot get refunds on VC. Spend it very wisely since it does not come back. You can earn currency via a daily reward or for completing MyCAREER games, for example, so it’s not hard to earn it back eventually. It can also be granted via locker codes, so be on the lookout for those.

NBA 2K24 is coming for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC with a September 8 release date. Pre-orders are out now, so be sure to get a copy of the annual release and play with your favorite NBA squad through the upcoming NBA season.
