The new season of Overwatch 2 is here. Invasion is the long-awaited Season 6 of Overwatch 2, which is bringing a plethora of new content to the hero shooter from Blizzard.

Is the Invasion Bundle for Overwatch 2 worth purchasing?
You are the only one who can decide if the Invasion Bundle for Overwatch 2 is worth it, but we’d say that if you want to play the story missions, it’s worth getting. The Invasion Bundle or Ultimate Invasion Bundle is the only way to gain access to the PvE story missions being released this season, and without purchasing one of the two bundles, you won’t be able to play them.
The Invasion Bundle, besides coming with permanent access to the three Invasion story missions, also unlocks:
- 1000 Overwatch Coins (enough to purchase a Premium Battle Pass)
- Permanently unlocking Sojourn
- An exclusive Legendary Skin for Sojourn
Coming in at $15 USD, it’s not a bad deal for both the battle pass and story missions, with added bonus of Sojourn and a skin for her.
The Ultimate Invasion Bundle is definitely pricier, coming in at $40 USD, and while you get the Null Sector Premium Battle Pass with 20 Tier Skips and Legendary Skins for both Cassidy and Kiriko, it is a significant amount more. Whether you believe the battle pass skips and those Legendaries are worth it is up to you.
Overwatch 2 Season 6 is full of other goodies for players to enjoy besides the new story missions taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Gothenburg, and Toronto. It includes the new core mode Flashpoint, the new Hero Mastery mode, and a new playable hero being released. There are additional Legendary Skins to be earned in the Premium Battle Pass and other cosmetic rewards.
