Overwatch 2 Season 6 Battle Pass

A new season is here for the hero shooter from Blizzard, Overwatch 2. For fans of the game, that means plenty of new content for them to dive into.

As soon as the new Season 6 starts, there will be new maps to enjoy, a new hero to play, and new game modes. Of course, a new season also means a new battle pass to rank up through.

We’ve got all the details you could want on the Overwatch 2 Season 6 Battle Pass. Let’s jump in and see what’s new in the battle pass for the Invasion Season.

What’s in Overwatch 2 Season 6 Battle Pass?

To start off, there are two battle passes and two bundles you’ll be able to purchase for Season 6 of Overwatch 2. These two battle passes and two bundles have different prices, and come with different perks:

  • Premium Battle Pass (1000 Overwatch Coins)
  • Premium Battle Pass +20 Tiers (2200 Overwatch Coins)
  • Invasion Bundle ($15 USD)
  • Ultimate Invasion Bundle ($40 USD)

Premium Battle Passes for Overwatch 2 Season 6

The Premium Battle Pass and the Premium Battle Pass +20 Tiers both unlock all 80 tiers of the battle pass you can earn by playing the game. All of the rewards are Null Sector themed to go with the new story mission mode that is coming with Season 6.

You’ll also be able to get a 20% boost in XP when a Premium Battle Pass is purchased. This will make progressing through the tiers easier.

The only difference between the two is that the +20 Tiers version will allow you to skip 20 of the 80 tiers, giving you a jump start on the new rewards and cosmetics to earn.

Invasion Bundles for Overwatch 2 Season 6

The Invasion Bundle and Ultimate Invasion Bundle can only be purchased with real money instead of the in-game currency Overwatch coins. Both will gain you access to the story missions immediately and permanently after. You will also receive a Legendary skin for Sojourn, and permanent access to the hero.

The Invasion Bundle, once purchased, will give you 1000 Overwatch Coins, as well, allowing you to purchase the Premium Battle Pass.

However, the Ultimate Invasion Bundle will get you 2000 Overwatch Coins instead, and give the Premium Battle Pass +20 Tiers. Along with these rewards, you’ll also be given two Legendary skins, one for Cassidy and one for Kiriko.

What are the rewards for Overwatch 2 Season 6 Battle Pass?

As of right now, the official 80 tiers of the Battle Pass have not been revealed yet. However, we know a few heroes will be getting new Null Sector-themed skins, including a Mythic skin for Ana. Other heroes will be receiving omnic skins, along with sprays and emotes that are commonly found in the battle pass.

The battle pass is also expected to unlock the new support hero coming with Invasion.

Season 6 of Overwatch 2 has plenty more to offer than just the battle pass. The new story missions will allow players to team up in PvE mode to take down Null Sector in three different locations; Rio de Janeiro, Toronto, and Gothenburg. Along with this, two other massive maps will be added, New Junk City and Suravasa, to play with the new core mode, the new Flashpoint.

This new update will bring an in-depth storyline to Overwatch 2, something fans have been asking for since the original Overwatch. These co-op event missions will allow you to stop the Null Sector assault that’s causing chaos around the world.

The new Hero Mastery mode is also coming, introducing a new progression system with leaderboards to rank up on. The Hero Mastery missions will allow you to complete complex objectives to let you train up your favorite heroes and be the best. There’s plenty of fun to be had in the newest season of Overwatch 2, and the best way to take advantage of it is with the new battle passes. Make sure to preload the game to get a head start.
