Pikmin 4 is coming and it will release on the Nintendo Switch. Fans of the series are excited to solve more puzzles with the lovable creatures known as Pikmin as they explore the mysterious planet.
Your mission is simple, Rescue Captain Olimar. Of course, there is much that stands in your way including a broken ship. You must use the Pikmin and the Rescue Dog Oatchi to navigate the planet and find treasures that can power the ship.
You are nothing more than a castaway but you will survive with help from your friends. Those who have played Pikmin before should know that Pikmin 4’s gameplay is very similar but offers changes like the new Ice Pikmin. There are also plenty of new treasures to be found. So how much longer do you have until the game launches?

Pikmin 4 releases at the same time worldwide. This is 9pm PT and 5am BST, but for a specific time depending on time zone, look below:
- Pacific Time (PT) – 9pm on July 20
- Mountain Time (MT) – 10pm on July 20
- Central Time (CT) – 11pmon July 20
- Eastern Time (EST) – 12am on July 21
Pikmin Release Time – UK
- British Summer Time (BST) – 5am on July 21
- Central European Time (CEST) – 6am on July 21

Pikmin 4 has plenty of exploration for space travelers known as the Rescue Corp. In this real-time strategy game, you must overcome many obstacles as you restore power to your spaceship and rescue Captain Olimar.
Those who wish to try the game out before the official release can do so by downloading the demo to their Nintendo Switch console. The demo covers the opening hours of the game, giving you a chance to get used to the new mechanics Pikmin 4 has to offer.
Don’t worry, those who decide to download the demo will have their progress carry over to the full release of the game.
