Increasing your Squad Size in Pikmin Bloom will help you gain rewards and make it easier to defeat Mushrooms. However, accomplishing that goal is easier said than done, as your tasks will increase as your level increases.

Would you like to plant beautiful flowers around your neighborhood? To do this, you will need to collect various flower petals. However, to do that, you will need Nectar to mature your Pikmin passed the Leaf stage. Once you have that out of the way, follow this guide to learn how to increase your Squad Size in Pikmin Bloom.

Pikmin Bloom – How can you increase Squad size?

Your Pikmin Squad will do all the dirty work as you continue your journey. They will follow you around, collecting Fruits or taking part in expeditions. To increase your Squad size, you must level up your Mii. Your Mii is your avatar in the game that will walk around with you and plant seedlings as you pass through various locations.

The amount of Pikmin you have in your Squad determines the thickness of your Flower trail. To increase your Mii level, you must participate in various tasks. In addition to the number of steps walked, there will also be requirements you must complete to move on to the next level.

The max level in Pikmin Bloom is level 100. Once you reach this level, the max amount of Pikmin you can have in your Squad is 40. As you increase your step counter, you will receive various tasks such as,

  • Complete expeditions
  • Grow Pikmin
  • Grow seedlings
  • Plant flowers
  • Clear Mushrooms

As you increase your level, you will receive multiple rewards

  • Red Seedlings
  • Yellow Nectar
  • Single-use slot
  • Huge Seedling
  • Special Nectar
  • Pink Seedling
  • Blue Seedling
  • Red Seedling

Once you have your dream team of Pikmin, those pesky Mushrooms will be of no concern!
