No. Unfortunately, there is no free trial for Starfield. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will not get a free trial for Starfield. Those who are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be able to play the game from day one as part of their subscription.
There is also no free trial on other platforms like Steam. Instead, when the game releases in September, you will need to either have a subscription or purchase the game for full price.
Luckily, while there isn’t a free trial, you can still get Game Pass for cheap. It is now one dollar to get access to Game Pass when Starfield launches.
One added benefit of having a Game Pass subscription is that you can purchase the premium upgrade for Starfield, allowing you to get more out of the game at less cost than buying the full game.
Other Bethesda titles like Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim can also be played on Game Pass but they don’t have a free trial either.
