Have you found any Skill Books in Starfield? Bethesda has a knack for adding skill books and magazines to RPGs. Other games like Fallout and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim also have skill books that allow you to enhance or upgrade your skills so they are at peak performance.
While you could certainly add Skill Books to your inventory by using console commands, there are plenty of areas where you can find them. Getting these books will add special bonuses to your skills to make them better than ever.

Where to find Skill Books in Starfield
Items in Starfield appear to spawn in different locations depending on what playthrough you are on. The locations for us may be different than where you find your Skill Books. Here are the different areas that we know Skill Books can spawn:
