Are you curious about what languages Starfield supports? The latest game by Bethesda Game Studios is fairly large and should support a decent number of languages. Previous games such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4 both support multiple languages on the different consoles.
Starfield doesn’t support a ton of languages but there are a good number that are supported for those who want to play the game. Language options are a must when it comes to games and companies know this. Developers like Nintendo and Sony typically localize games based on region.

Starfield – All Supported Languages
In total, Starfield supports nine languages. Not all of these languages are supported with text and voice, some are only supported through interface and text options. You can find the languages supported on the Starfield FAQ page. The following languages are supported with text and voice:
- English
- French
- German
- Spanish (Spain)
- Japanese
The following languages are supported with text and interface options:
- Italian
- Polish
- Portuguese (Brazil)
- Simplified Chinese
Some believe that Microsoft and Bethesda should include more languages such as Korean and Arabic languages since the company offers full Xbox support in Korea and Saudi Arabia. It would be nice to see Starfield get more language options in the future to help support a wider audience.
Other languages such as Russian were quietly removed from the game’s support. The Steam page showed that Russian was a supported language as early as March of this year.
Will Starfield get more language options in the future?
Currently, it is unknown if Starfield will support more languages in the future. There are petitions out there to show that players want support for their languages.
Perhaps with enough feedback Bethesda and Microsoft will add more supported languages to the list. If anything, modders might come in and add options for text and interface support.
