We continue to believe that 1440p is the ideal resolution for most gamers.

Many GPUs can support reasonably high frame rates, adaptive sync displays with high refresh rates may be purchased for about $300, and 144Hz IPS and VA panels are frequently used. The better the resolution, the fewer problems CPU bottlenecks become, which doesn’t significantly alter the standings overall.

The Radeon RX 6800 XT is one of AMD’s most alluring graphics cards right now. The RX 6800 XT promises exceptional performance in 1440p and even 4K resolutions as it targets the higher end of the gaming market.

It has high bandwidth, ray accelerators, and 16 GB of GDDR6 RAM. It is based on the RDNA 2 architecture.

The new RX 6000 series GPUs are fantastic but brand-new to the premium consumer market. They perform better in specific games, but the RTX 3000 series is superior outside of them. The RX6800 XT looks fantastic on paper. However, there is little matter of DLSS and Ray Tracing.

The card is quite capable and outperforms the RTX 3080@1440p in terms of rasterization.

Additionally, you receive 16GB of memory rather than 12GB. However, the memory is slower (GDDR6 as opposed to GDDR6X available on Nvidia cards), and AMD’s Infinity Cache makes up the bandwidth difference. Nvidia cards, on the other hand, have two significant benefits. Better ray-tracing performance is the first; DLSS is the second.

FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution), AMD’s response to Nvidia’s DLSS, was indeed recently released. However, FSR works with both AMD and Nvidia GPUs, while DLSS only works with Nvidia cards.

You won’t see the same amount of performance gain when using an Nvidia GPU, but you can still use it and benefit from improved performance. Finally, you’ll see that DLSS has more developer support if you look at the list of existing and forthcoming games that support FSR and DLSS.
