Fear not though, moving the other way is equally impressive – you’re able to drop the brightness all the way down to 1nits of brightness for when you’re in low-light environments – perfect for late-night antics/caving/sneaking through a cinema/whatever you like.
Apple Watch Ultra 2 brightness
As if this wasn’t insane enough, Apple decided to scorch our eyeballs even more with the Apple Watch Ultra 2 peak brightness, which reaches up to 3000 nits! That’s frankly ridiculously high, and we’d struggle to think of a scenario where your environment would be so bright you wouldn’t be able to see the display when set to that level.
We didn’t catch what the lowest light settings are (hopefully also 1nits), but at least you can rest easy knowing you should always be able to see the time.
