If you’re looking for where to buy iPhone 16 models when they release, plus any and all details about whether there will be an iPhone 16 pre order, then we’ve got all the details you need. Although the iPhone 16 release date is a way off yet, Apple are very predictable with their release patterns for their phone range, including for the iPhone 16+, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
We’ve listed below the various places where you’ll almost certainly be able to buy these iconic smartphones from (these are the same retailers that always sell Apple products), along with a bit more information. Normally new Apple products release on the Apple store and on Amazon simultaneously, and finally on the sites of other retailers, so we expect the same will be true for the Apple Vision Pro.
Will you be able to pre order iPhone 16 models?
You will almost certainly be able to pre order the upcoming iPhone 16, iPhone 16+, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Apple has done pre-order listings for at least the previous five iPhone releases, and we don’t see this changing any time soon.
When will iPhone 16 pre order listings go live?
Again, this is one area where Apple are very consistent, although we can’t give a specific iPhone 16 pre order date yet as it depends upon when the company decides to set the launch event.
Normally, iPhone launch/reveal events are either on a Tuesday (as it is was with last year’s) or a Wednesday, in early or mid-September (the most recent exception to this is the iPhone 12, which was launched in October). Pre orders for the base model iPhones then always go live on the Friday of that same week. The Pro and Pro Max models can often be pre-ordered at the same time, though sometimes they’re available slightly later. The actual release date/delivery date for the pre-orders typically lands the following Friday, one week after that. Will there be an iPhone 16 pre order bonus?
Apple themselves rarely do any kind of pre order bonus on their products. What you might get however is a trade-in deal when you buy your new handset with a contract from a particular telecom provider (the likes of AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Vodafone, EE etc.).
