In a recent press release, Apple confirmed the details of the Apple Vision Pro release date – at least for the US market that is. The official release date is scheduled for February 2nd, 2023, which is when you’ll be able to get your hands on the new device and pick it up from Apple Stores in the USA. You can however buy the device earlier via a pre order, should you wish.
When will you be able to buy the Apple Vision Pro?
The first opportunity you’ll get to buy the new Apple Vision Pro will be on Friday the 19th of January from the Apple US Store when the pre order goes live at 5AM PST/8AM EST. You can read our Apple Vision Pro pre order & where to buy page for more info.

As mentioned, the actual Apple Vision Pro release date will be on the 2nd of Feb, which is also when the pre-ordered units will go out for delivery.
When is the Apple Vision Pro release date outside the US?
Unfortunately we haven’t yet heard about the specific Apple Vision Pro release date for countries outside the US. The last information we got from Apple on this subject was back during the unveiling of the product back in June 2023, when they said it would be landing ‘later next year’ for the rest of the world, as opposed to the ‘early next year’ for the US. This could mean any time between Q2-Q4 2024.
Given the technological leap represented by this product, plus the very high price tag, it’s uncertain if it will sell quite as well as Apple hopes. This, plus the reported manufacturing issues Apple have possibly faced in getting it made, could mean the company is waiting to see how well it does in the US market before expanding production for the rest of the world – a strategy that does make sense, even if it is annoying for the rest of us!
