Celebrating International Women’s Day all month, Epic Games have been teasing the Leelah and Halley skins for some time now. Today, March 11, 2022, is finally the day the pair arrive in the Fortnite Item Shop as part of the Best Friends Bundle.
Woman or not, you can probably relate to this pair, either in your friendship group or, like me, just within yourself. One half cutesy and adorable, the other gothic and shrouded in mystery. My “my favorite color is pink” half is forever embroiled in battle with my, “I’m dressed in black leave me alone” side. And if that’s you, too, or if you and your best friend perfectly embody the two styles between you, then the Best Friends Bundle will make a great addition to your locker. If not, then you can also just buy whichever of the two you prefer on their own!
Halley and Leelah Fortnite Best Friends Bundle
Halley and Leelah make up the Best Friends bundle, and the two inseparable buddies prove opposites attract. Halley comes dressed all in black (though her soft side comes out with hints of pink), with her skin’s studded trousers, leather jacket and sharp black nails perfectly showcasing her punk style.
Meanwhile, not a hint of black can be seen on the Leelah skin, with a combination of pastel colors dominating her outfit. With half pink and half blue hair, pink and purple on her jacket and a cute plaid, pleated skirt, Leelah adorably contrasts Halley to make them the perfect match. And, yes, Leelah does have two sets of arms, with one puffy set seemingly made of clouds protruding from her jacket.

How much are Leelah and Halley skins in Fortnite?
You can get both Leelah and Halley for the Bundle offer price of 2,200 of Fortnite‘s V-Bucks currency, which includes all of the items listed above.
However, if you’d prefer just one or the other of the Fortnite Best Friends, then you can purchase the Halley skin and her Winkycats Back Bling, or the Leelah skin and her Hoppabuns Back Bling, for 1,200 V-Bucks each. From there, the Bundle’s katana Pickaxe, The Amethyst Fang, can be purchased on its own for 800 V-Bucks, as can the black and pink Winkypaw weapon Wrap.
Free Winkycat and Hoppybun items in the Fortnite Item Shop
If you haven’t already, you can still get your hands on four free items in the shop right now. We’re not sure, but we’re assuming these will be available for most of March, but don’t hang around in case they disappear sooner.
The items that you can currently get for free are all themed around International Women’s Day, which takes place on March 8 every year. They are the Heart Sign Emote, the Per Aspera Ad Astra Wrap, the I Am Fearless Lobby Track and the Hop and a Wink Spray, featuring Halley and Leelah’s cute sidekicks.
