In addition to a price reduction, the popular 5800X3D is now even better value for money if you’re building a new gaming PC. It comes with an MSI B450 motherboard for absolutely free as part of a Newegg bundle offer for a limited time.

While it’s not the latest and greatest processor, the 5800X3D represented a big step for AMD processors in terms of gaming. This is thanks to the addition of the stacked V-Cache technology that makes it a beast for gaming scenarios in particular. Get yourself over to the Newegg store page as to not miss out on this fantastic two-in-one bundle.

5800X3D bundle deal now live at Newegg

There’s no doubt in our mind that this deal offers good value for money. The 5800X3D has been chopped down from its usual $449.00 price tag to just $359.00. While we have spotted this CPU for as low as $305 on Amazon as of late, the included B450 motherboard is valued at $69.99, so it’s a good package deal for a great price.

Back when we did our 5800X3D review, we gave it top marks for good reason. Even though it has since been superseded by the 7800X3D as one of the best gaming CPUs, we definitely think it still holds its own as a last-gen option if you are looking to create a cheaper AM4 build.

How long does this deal last?

We’re actually not 100% certain on when this deal will expire. The Newegg listing simply lists a ‘free B450 motherboard with purchase, limited offer’, which is a bit ambiguous for our liking. There’s a good chance it relies on stock levels. Either way, it’s a good idea to snap it up while you still can.

Be sure to click the ‘add free gift offer to cart’ checkbox if you want this bundle offer. If you’d rather just get the CPU alone, then Micro Center or Amazon are running better discounts. Finally, if this deal kicks off your first custom build, check out our how to build a gaming PC guide.
