Call of Duty’s season 4 is finally in full swing after we received an update on what to expect in the roadmap last week. The season update has brought new weapons, new blueprints and skins, and new operators on top of a new map and limited-time mode called Lockdown.

In this update, it is obvious many features were worked on, such as health being increased on players for Warzone as well as removing AI from multiplayer (mp) battles as well. However, there is now some discussion going around about how MP didn’t receive many updates or changes in this latest update.

Call of Duty MP didn’t get any changes following Season 4 update

Today, June 14, an update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone was released as they gear up the new Season 4 content and Battle Pass. Nevertheless, even with all this new content, fans are really enraged with there being no changes made to multiplayer.

CharlieIntel posted on Twitter about this matter of MP not receiving any changes and even went as far as to state that “I would not expect many changes to MP for the rest of the game’s season.” This is disheartening for players who were really expecting some improvements for the past year and now they won’t be receiving them it seems.

In the tweet above, it is also stated that the developer said in a creator call back in February that they were happy with how the MP in Call of Duty was performing, which has now led to there being no changes. We cannot find this creator’s phone call from this year to confirm this information or not.

Looking below at the comments of this tweet, it is honestly a mixture of comments, some players claim to not have much of a problem with the MP, and other players are making sarcastic jokes about how it does need changes and improvements. However, those that are mad are very angry.

There have been multiple calls to make changes to the multiplayer system, yet it looks like those calls will go completely unheard. This is enough to make any player that wanted it angry. However, maybe there will be an understanding eventually, and we’ll move onto the next CoD game this year.

One issue this could create for the game is, usually, once updates end for MP, sometimes that can be a sign for when a game starts only adding new skins, weapons, and other purchasable content instead of new features. However, it doesn’t seem Call of Duty will be coming to the end of its line anytime soon, as there’s not much speaking at all about any new games.
