Counter-Strike Global Offensive is the most popular game on Steam right now and for good reason. The game stands tremendously well on its own, but the highly anticipated CS2 update is supposedly right around the corner. Players hope and pray that they are randomly selected for the beta when a new wave rolls around. well. Check your CS:GO games – a new wave of CS2 invites rolled out recently.

Many users on Reddit are reporting Beta invitations, posting really just to make us all jealous. Both u/Fifthversion and u/DankMemeRipper1337 both posted the fact that they have received CS2 Beta participation invitations.

So we guess it’s that time again, time to check if you’ve made it into the CS2 Beta participation. If you have, don’t tell us because we’re just gonna get jealous.

CS2 has been recently updated to include the Overpass map, it may not indicate much about the full release of the game, but it is sweet progress. For now, we just have to assume that Valve is staying true to its word and it’s going to release CS2 at some point near the end of summer 2023.

You’ll know if you’ve been given access to the CS2 limited test because you will receive a pop-up like the one detailed in the image. It’s pretty clear so you shouldn’t miss it at all. You should then receive the option to split launch both CS:GO and the CS2 Limited test. This means you can return to CS:GO whenever you like. which is a plus.

There are many great improvements made to CS2 over CS:GO including the Smokes, which are the highlight of the game in our opinion.

With the CS2 release approaching, we’re really looking forward to CS2 and playing all of the maps we’ve come to love in CS:GO but have been given a new lease on life. so like us, you’d better check your CS:GO games – a new wave of CS2 invites rolled out recently.
