COD Vanguard Preload Available Now!

The next instalment in the Call of Duty franchise is just around the corner. With the next FPS shooter, Call of Duty Vanguard, being set for a November 5th launch. Now’s the ideal time to get your consoles or PC ready for this hefty download.
Bearing in mind, you can only preload the game if you’re pre-ordered it. But as long as you’ve pre-ordered it, you’ll be set. Now, let’s have a look at the specs.
COD Vanguard preloading info
All players who pre-ordered can begin to pre-load the game so that it’s ready at launch. Preloading is available for all systems but has different times for each platform:
- PlayStation®4 and 5: Preloading begins on October 28 at 9 PM PT in North and South America. All other countries will begin preloading on October 29 at midnight local time.
- Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S: Preloading begins on October 28 at 9 PM PT.
- PC: Preloading begins on November 2.
If you purchased a digital version of the game but it does not download during the preload period, visit your platform’s first-party store and follow the prompts to begin the download.

Day One file sizes
Thanks to on-demand texture streaming tech, the download size of Vanguard is going to be significantly smaller than previous COD downloads (looking at you Warzone). These are the estimated download sizes, so make sure you’ve got the available space for your console!
