Dead By Daylight received a massive mid-chapter update last month featuring a visual update for the Haddonfield map and the Hemorrhage rework. Unfortunately, the content drop came with a host of problems that left players frustrated. Update 5.7.1 attempted to fix most of these issues and the devs had to release yet another update today to address the bugs.

Issues with Hemorrhage Have Been Addressed

In the mid-chapter update, the devs reworked Hemorrhage completely. Currently, survivors affected by the Hemorrhage Status Effect have their healing progression regress at a steady rate when not being healed. Healing regresses at a rate of 7% per second. But there were issues with the update which have been addressed. The new update fixed an issue that caused the Hemorrhage status effect not to refresh upon entering the Nightmare’s traps when equipped with the Cat Block add-on.

Victor Receives Some Minor Fixes

There was an issue that caused Victor to be not reachable and unable to be crushed by Survivors after pouncing behind the hole in the locker room on the RPD map. The problem has been addressed and you should be able to use him properly in the RPD map. There was also another issue with Victor on the Haddonfield map which caused Victor to dissolve and it has also been fixed after players reported the issue.

Bug Fixes Deployed For QOL Issues

In addition to the game-breaking bugs, the new update also addresses some of the UI glitches and sound effect issues that were identified in the mid-chapter update. There was a problem with Legion’s idle animation briefly not playing when Feral Frenzy ended which has been fixed. Players had also reported an issue with the Fuming Mix Tape add-on effect which was being canceled when survivors cleansed the Hex: Ruin totem during Feral Frenzy. Players can finally use the Fuming Mix Tape without running into the annoying issue.

The Ghost Face’s addon “Olsen’s Driver’s License” is not functioning even in the current patch. Survivors are missing the open exit gate animation when injured and affected by the Nemesis’ T-Virus. The devs are aware of these issues and they will be addressed in a future update.
