After introducing “several” bugs in the recent Elden RIng 1.3 patch, we are now being pushed 1.03.2, which is being billed as an essential update. There doesn’t;t look like there will be too much in the way of changes here, but quick fixes to tide us over until the next major patched release.

What platforms is Elden Ring patch 1.03.2 for?

The patch is targeted at all versions of the game, so any of the following.

PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S / Steam

What is fixed in Elden Ring patch 1.03.2?

rennala elden ring

The major items that have received treatment in the patch are as follows:

・Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented players from advancing NPC Nepheli Loux’s questline

・Fixed a bug that causes the playable character to die when trying to descend from a spot near Bestial Sanctum

・Fixed a bug that prevented Ash of War, Endure from taking effect

・Fixed a bug in multiplayer that allowed players to teleport others to incorrect map coordinates

Do I have to update to Elden Ring patch 1.03.2?

Yes and no is the answer, if you are happy with your offline performance and don’t want to risk introducing any new issues to your game in the short term, you can carry on. If you wish to play online or multiplayer, however, you will need to update to the latest version of the game.

It’s probably worth noting that this is an incremental bug fix patch rather than one that offers any majors changes to the game. We will have to wait for the 1.4 patch for that.
